I think that may cover it,... need anymore let me know I can’t seem to put an entryway anywhere with the tv where it is

I see the pics but I’m not following what you’re wanting to do.

I would like to create an entry way as well as find a place to put an accent wall but with the tv where it is I don’t think that is possible,... the furniture arrangement I have feels awkward

This is your current set-up. I'm guessing that the worst pain is the purple traffic path that goes around the chair. Also the TV is pretty far away from the sofa, not ideal.

I suggest that you try the sofa in front of the window, with the TV across from it. The TV is less bulky than the chair so there is less of a detour around it. It will also be closer to the sofa, for better viewing.

My son has a similar challenge in his living room, and he mounted the TV flat on the wall, instead of setting it on a cabinet. He mounted a black shelf above the TV, which holds all the TV "stuff" like the Wii player. It makes the traffic path much easier to navigate.

Put the sofa and chair so that their front legs are about a foot onto the rug.

Once you have your furniture arranged they way you like it, let us help you re-hang your wall decor. Your things would look better hung lower, and closer together. Think of making a grouping, and don't worry about covering the whole wall.

I do like that unfortunately there is a safe in the wall behind the chair so wall mount would not work as far as I know? but the layout would! Oh I know th. Pictures are a mess we just bought it and I threw them up to cover up lines from the things they took down along with the holes in the wall!!! Could it be spring yet ? I would hate to paint without fresh air! I really would like an accent wall I would love to create a built in,.. even just a faux fireplace and textured brick or stone. But what wall? I have about a 250$ budget if anyone can send me to ideas! ? I still have everything on super sliders so rearrange it is! I def. need new wall decor ideas I am crafty if there is any direction you could send me?

I didn't see your post earlier, about wanting an entry way area. I can't really tell the sizes of your rug and furniture, but hope this suggestion works. Move the rug over away from the front door, so that it anchors the seating area (sofa, chair, coffee table). TV opposite the sofa, wall hung and centered on the section of the wall between the white door and the door opening.

That should leave you enough room for a long rug, which will give you the feeling of a separate entry way. Choose something shallow as an entry way cabinet or use a narrow wall hung shelf below a mirror or piece of wall art.

This might work for your hallway. Only 7" deep and holds 8 pair of shoes. Ikea STÄLL.

A basement bath so no windows and it was fine.
