Maple cabinets, natural hickory floors.

I was going to post a picture until I saw you said you don't want wood floors in the kitchen. I have natural maple cabinets with white oak floors stained with special walnut stain. I don't care for tile in the kitchen. Too hard on my feet.

Idea

Well I have to be careful bc I'm running the natural red oak wood floor from the other room, coming into the kitchen area-I didn't want that in my kitchen bc it is just wayyy too much of the same tone and too close together (light wood). So I can't lay another color of wood down (darker/lighter), so I'm looking for tile ideas, or maybe this LVT stuff? Anything other than a wood floor with the natural cabinets...Thank you!!!!

I have a lot more wood around then you. I live in a log cabin. If you decide to go with wood here's what my cabinets look like with oak floors.

Vinmarks you win-you have more wood than I do!!! and your floors look beautiful. Mine coming into the kitchen (If I did that) would be the lighter version of red oak flooring. Almost the exact color of the cabinets. I wouldn't have that nice dark tone that you have...
