We are remodeling our home (first time) and have bought 24x24 porcelain tiles for our entryway and kitchen. Our contractor is telling us that it is perfectly acceptable to have varying widths and slight elevations between the tiles. I understand it will look better once the grout is down, but is this large variation in gaps acceptable ???? Please see photos. Also, the tiles that are cut are very jagged, I can’t imagine that this is the norm !! Please help !
