Fragrant minis that stay small

Are there any fragrant miniature Rose's that stay small? Thank for your suggestions.

Constellation was a fragrant mini that stayed small for me yet was vigorous. "Was" because then I planted it in The Spot of Death, and of course it died within 2 months.

Sweet Chariot (a very fragrant mini, but almost climber habit of growth), Cafe Ole, Sweet Arlene, Diamond Eyes, Lavender Crystal, Winter Magic, Scentsational (the most fragrant mini), Deja Blu, and Flawless are the best fragrant minis and mini floras I have had experience with growing.

The drift rose, Apricot Drift, which is essentially a miniature rose, is very fragrant for me and some others, but not in all gardens nor to all noses. It's very bushy, unlike most minis, and only a very mild black spotter, unlike the vast majority of extremely disease prone minis.

I cannot see how anyone can grow minis in heavy black spot pressure areas without intense spraying.

‘Sweet Chariot’ is the only one I can recommend as both “small” and fragrant. It fares well in terms of disease resistance, but isn’t perfect. Size: 15” tall by up to 24” wide.

Hi Rekha - I tried to post photos of Lavender Crystal, Marriotta, and Pink Poodle but this website isn't cooperating. I believe there are decent photos on HMF.

These three roses achieve a height of about 1.5 - 2 ft and about 2ft wide at the height of summer. They are fragrant but the intensity varies by weather. I live in a warm but dry climate where fragrance is more pronounced generally when there is a bit more humidity. LC is a very strong grower in my climate and available from Burling Leong. Good luck!

I grow Lavender Crystal as well as several other mini's. I will see if I can post a picture of Lavender Crystal.

There you go! I do like this rose very much. Easy to grow on own root.

I did grow Sweet Chariot. Truly, not my favorite. I think Vineyard Song is such a better rose. Since mine is still a baby (but growing strong), take a look on HMF to see great pictures of it. I LOVE this rose. It is amazing. Flowers are beautiful. It is totally charming. Strong scent. Burling carries it.

I also grow Sequoia gold that has a mild fragrance. It is a workhorse of a rose. Constantly in bloom. It is an unsung rose that deserves more credit. Burling carries it.
