Well I have had a lot of trouble posting today so I will give the seasonal progression of Zebra Stripes one at a time.

Laurie, thanks for the Zebra Stripes progression! It’s so helpful to see what plants do through the season, you never get a disappointment this way.

Sherry so happy it was helpful. Especially one like this that people might think has the potential to turn completely green in late season. I try to not add any that are viridescent. I was pleasantly surprised that it holds up well very late in the season too.

Glad you are not having difficulty today Sherry. (I noticed Brad said he had problems too on the DF)

Yellow from April to End of Mai and green for the rest of the summer

and back to yellow in November :-)

peren- I avoid viridescent plants too, generally, but sometimes it’s worth it... your Zebra Stripes certainly is... very pretty and different in the garden!

Karin- I love that Zitroenenfalter (even though it viridescent too)!

And I really like the Zippity Do Dahs....however this season I’m planning to buy mostly a few more solid colored hostas, (just a couple patterned) as well as a couple of streakers, and predominantly small/mediums, until I get all those in the garage planted out and I can see what kind of space I will have. I have several potential giants in pots.

No Z hostas here but the older I get, the more I love more ZZZ's.
