Hello,

We are in the process of building our home (rough carpenters have arrived!) and I need some help with our cabinet layout. I plan on doing the backsplash after occupancy. The current cabinet layout is attached and my question is: Should I extend the backsplash up to the bottom of the floating shelf or continue it straight across (so there would be a gap underneath the bottom floating shelf)? Or, should I lower the bottom floating shelf to be in line with the full cabinet? Any input in appreciated!
