Streptocarpus and AV Seedlings

I realize the color is crap on this photo but this is a close up of the African Violet 'Rebel's Splatter Kake' x Self I did for a demo last year. I finally threw some of the seed on soil to germinate in late December, not really expecting much from this selfing. Yet, low and behold! Do I see variegation on the seedling in the lower right? Although there is only one in this photo, It looks like at least two or three of them in this batch may be mosaic variegated. It's really too early to tell so I need to wait and see if they keep it. As the parent plant shows no variegation, I am surprised to see any crop up.

In the second photo is one of my several streptocarpus crosses - this one using DS Strawberry as the parent. Some of the seedlings are weaker and yellowed so I am going to give them a light dose of epsom salts to see if they'll green up. In both cases these seedlings were started in late December and have been transplanted once and are now crowding, ready for a second transplant. Frequent transplanting makes gesneriad seedlings grow MUCH faster. Leaving them crowded will stunt them.
