Where are you located? I would haunt the high end vintage dealers like Harp Gallery in Wisconsin or Stenella Antiques in Pennsylvania. Both ship. Vintage furniture is generally better than new these days, and Windsor chairs harder to find. You could do an eBay “nearest me” search and find something local if you don’t want to ship. Alternately, are you near any Amish furniture makers?

David T Smith. I also have D. R. Dimes but that company just closed its doors after 54 years in business so you would need to find used. Both of these makers are reproduction quality with a variety of authentic paint finishes. I just attended an auction of 1790’s birdcage Windsor’s, but they were too small in the seat and a little short to be comfortable for my tall family.
