Hello again. very concerned about the Phal I posted on 5 days ago.

For the record, I discovered the white stuff between the leaves at the base was just some perlite, or so it seems when I took it out with tweezers and examined it with magnifyer. I put a drop of alcohol there just in case. Repotted. Roots were not in to bad a shape so just cut off a few dead ones and applied cinnamon. The sticky stuff was only on one bud then (the bud above these).

This is it today. The sticky stuff is now on other buds, dripping, and contains that white stuff you can see which was barely visible until the sticky stuff was disturbed by my moving it around to photograph, and zoomed in it shows much more then with the naked eye. There is no evidence of anything anywhere else on this plant including the roots. I do not think it’s the natural sugar.

I have segregated it but need to know what to do. Is there hope. Thanks again in advance.
