Vine for NJ Shade

last year I started a secret shade garden. it faces east and south but hidden behind my gazebo, under 2 dogwoods, and hidden from the yard by some tall perennials (butterfly bush, hibiscus, arbor covered in flowering vines). in the beginning of the year it might have some morning sun but for the majority of the season its shade with lightly dappled sun (at best).

Any suggestions for vines that would do well in a shady spot like this? Also, The gazebo is only about 15 ft tall so it doesnt need to grow too vigorously or too tall.

I added 2 pics.

  1. I have several of these metal pieces (from gates maybe?) that I would like to have against the gazebo here for climbers. I can alter them (add twine, whatever need be to grab onto) for the vine I choose.
  2. stepping farther out. picture taken from south east. wide open now but the dogwoods fill in first and that butterfly bush directly to the left grows as tall as the gazebo by July(?) leaving this a pretty shady corner!
