No experience with IKEA cabs (though I am thinking of doing them in our laundry room) but I do have experience with vessel sinks. Don’t do it. They **look** nice, but are the biggest pain in the arse and I curse the former owners that put these blasted things in every time I have to use one - which is multiple times a day. Go with a nice undermount sink and save yourself a lot of hassle.

I love the Godmorgon from Ikea why not that instead.

I like this also but wanted to use the blue-grey cabinet fronts that only come with the kitchen units. Semi-hand made make good fronts for Godmorgon but I can't get exactly this color unless I paint them. Wanted to avoid doing this but may well have to do this.

I’ve used both their kitchen cabs and their bathroom cabs in bathrooms/laundryrooms. They both held up really well. Make sure they’re not getting sprayed directly with water from say a shower or so. I had one bathroom cab installed a bit too close to a shower and the fronts ended up having some damage. Structure was fine though.. best of luck!

Kitchen cabs (IKEA Metod)

Oh, and the kitchen cabs can be installed with a wall rail or with adjustable legs so you can hang them a bit lower if you need. I’m doing my IKEA kitchen now and I’m short so I’m installing them a few inches lower than standard. You can adjust the supporting legs or get nicer looking ones (if they will be exposed) in any style and height online.

I like godmorgon because it can be installed floating, easy to clean and I like the look.
