I contacted Houzz and of course they said - make sure you are using the latest versions of Chrome and your operating system, delete cache, cookies, browsing history then restart computer. See if that helps.

I had done all that and it did not help. I told them the problem was at their end.

They contacted me today and asked for a screenshot of the issue.

My response was... I can load pics but they disappear when I hit submit. There is no error screen/number. I told them that from the beginning.

How can you screenshot that?? Very frustrating.

If others would contact Houzz it could be very helpful in getting this issue resolved.

I don't do a lot of container gardening, and apparently don't take pictures of it when I do. Here's 1st and Ten on the container it was grown in (and Valley's Lemon Squash in the background:

Steve, what great root growth on 1st and Ten. It does look like transplanting time.

I had to look up 1st and Ten as well as Colored Hulk, so nice. All these great containers really show off the plants.

Francee was new last year and grew tremendously in this pot. Photo from late October. BTW- what may look like weeds in the bed is actually Leptinella.

Side note, love the leptinella! I have it growing around the fire pit-great groundcover

Just a Lancifolia but it grows so well in this little pot. I put it out and forget about it.

my conclusion..hostas look great with everything!!..there's a lot of variety here and ALL of it is beautiful!..steve - I bet your beds will "work out" and be stunning..I love Japanese maples with hostas too..

Oops, looks like I got my wires crossed. Meant to put this in the companion thread.

I put in a bunch of stuff in this bed to take up space while I'm waiting for the Hostas to mature. EEs, Coleus, Salvia and some Heuchera, JM and Peony to break up all the Hostas later.

And here's another Salvia with Clematis in the background, but you can't see the other Hosta beside Liberty

steve..so sorry the deer came by..it's happened to me but not since they had a "deer hunt" at the big park (3900 acres) down the street a few years ago..scientists said the park couldn't support the population..the deer were coming to neighborhoods close to the park (like mine)..there were protesters but the hunt took place..my husband is not a hunter..I think it's sad but so are starving deer..it did cut the population..I haven't seen deer in my yard for years..that bed is loaded..it's going to be so lush..
