Hummingbird Farm sends good-sized, healthy plants IME and gets high ratings on Garden Watchdog.

Other nurseries from the list in the link that I know are gone include Lazy S’s, Fairweather Gardens, Seneca Hills, and Koi Gardens.

Not all of those that still are in business on the linked list come with good ratings, so check Garden Watchdog before ordering.

All the nurseries named above in this thread get good reviews here and I have ordered from all but Donahues and been happy with the plants.

Btw Babs, Seneca Hills closed several years ago and Lazy S last year.

I know, that is why I said that they were gone. Fairweather closed shortly after Seneca Hills and also due to owner family health issues, and Lazy S’s wanted to retire but couldn’t find a buyer. Koi Gardens overpromised and couldn’t deliver orders in a timely fashion and then had cash flow issues,

I tried songsparrow.com. Very Happy. Couple more with good selection: Home of clematis and Garden Crossings.

Hummingbird Farm and Silver Star are my favorites.
