Well, I've not had especially good luck with Brecks bulbs, just FYI.

I do buy from JS though. Mixed results as well.

Yeah, but I pretty much only see those plastic netted pre-packaged bulbs locally any more ;(

What about tulips.com(Roozengarde), Longfield gardens and easytogrowbulbs.com (especially when specials are advertised)?

I’ve had excellent results with Holland Bulb Farms. They have really good sales, which is nice if you’re on a budget like me. :) I’ve ordered multiple times and everything (except for a few bare root perennials in the end of season clearance grab bag. lol) has been in very nice condition and has performed very well for me. Granted, I actually haven’t used them for sourcing fall bulbs, but lilies, astilbe, dahlias, clematis, and everything else has been so great I wouldn’t hesitate to order tulips and daffs.

I order from Brent & Becky. You can generally buy in multiplies of 5.

For anyone wishing to get small quantities and not pay shipping, they sell those small boxes of Summer bulbs at Home Depot near the registers. I bought a similar box of tulips at Lidl's and they are growing nicely with variegated leaves and buds just waiting to bloom.
