I love my sanguinelli...you made a good choice. It will grow quickly for you. Although the oranges do not color up as much as moros, they are sweet and juicy....one of my favorite trees. I do not have anything to add...have enough trees thank you very much ;) . I am, however, rehoming a few more. Now that I have tasted most fruit, I realize which I use and like the most and which I do not need duplicates of or just don't use as often. Enjoy your new baby!

Thanks, Laura! I’m happy to hear they’re sweet! I lost a few grafts to the “Citrus Hunter” (see first photo), so I’m down to 17. I did order a willow leaf lemon this weekend:). I’m sure once my trees start producing, I will be weeding out a few as well.

Well, at least he looks like a cute citrus hunter lol! I've not heard of a willow leaf lemon before. Once you have lemons coming out of your ears, you will be making lots of lemonade!

I just received a cute Shasta Gold mandarin today from Logees. Hard to believe it made it across the country undamaged. It's in the 20's at night here too.

Have a second Shasta Gold premium ordered from FWG and a premium Mexican Lime. Was given a big gift card for Christmas and can't find anything else I want except a Tahoe Gold which they won't have until later this spring.

Nancy, a little info for you on the Gold Series Tahoe, alternate bearing, vigorous, fruit , large size,does not hold well. Shasta, vigorous, tendencies alternate bearing, large fruit, all seedless. Yosemite,rich, sweet, large fruit, rough skin. If you want the finest, try Daisy.

I couldn't make up my mind this year / help myself, so I ended up getting an oroblanco, a tahitian pomelo, and a duncan grapefruit to try. I haven't taken a look at my outside citrus since the bitter cold came through (they're bundled up in frost cloth and lights) but anything that didn't make it might get replaced (sudachi, yuzu, xie shan mandarin).
