Ridiculously overpriced dishwasher. Alternative: Bosch SHXM4AY55N: $674.

I'm very dissatisfied with the Fulgor-Milano brand. My dishwasher had a significant electrical failure (melting a 13 amp electrical connector from the heater) after 3 years of operation. Local rep doesn't carry parts for the dishwasher and now waiting for parts from Italy (11 weeks now). That's really unacceptable, if you carry a brand you need to carry parts too. I would not recommend buying this brand.

This is upsetting - I am getting down to the point where I need to make a selection - I was looking for a 36 inch induction cooktop with KNOBS - I had decided on the Blue Star, but just found out that FM makes a 36 inch induction RANGE top - that would solve another problem and eliminate the seam in my stone. Maybe this is a bad choice. - Advice, thoughts?

The Fulgor Milano F6IRT365S1 ($3500) is new so you're unlikely to find any reviews of it. The Frigidaire Professional FPIC3677RF ($1748) also has knobs, a bridge element, is well-liked by owners, and is half the price.

@wdccruise - I'm not worried about the price as this kitchen will cost a lot of money. The FM is only marginally more than the Blue Star and would also mean I can eliminate the dreaded seam in my stone. It was just an interesting option so I wanted to explore. I'll have to do a deeper dive on this one. I have been very disappointed in my Electrolux W/D needing repair 4 times in 6 years so I'm not willing to take a chance on something from the same company, i..e., the Frigidaire.

Dishwasher hasn't worked properly since the first day. Must be something with the electronics - have to try over and over to get it to start and now has quit entirely. Three weeks to get a repairman out.
