The island is large - I for one would have to walk all the way around it to clean it (and even then might not be able to reach the very center). Are you planning on having seating at the island?

Corner pantries (like the image below) are problematic - because they are giant, hulking masses that interrupt the flow of the kitchen and stick a swinging door in the middle of the work space. Yours is not like this =)

I might think about moving the wall ovens to the cooktop wall (by the pantry entrance - so that there is landing space on the oven's left side

How are you planning on using/furnishing the Sun Room?

With the 4' aisle between the cooktop & prep sink, there's room for 2 butts

You don't have it marked, but I might think about having the microwave on the left side of the fridge - easy access for anyone to warm something up from the fridge without having to enter the kitchen

There is not a lot of love here for corner pantries in the kitchen itself; the tyoe proposed does eliminate a corner cab...a plus in my opinion.

It seems that you will have a somewhat long and convoluted path when carrying in groceries if that entry is in the mud room. I briefly thought about suggesting putting a door from the mudroom through the pantry, but at 5’ wide, you would loose storage. Could the stairs move forward 12” or so the other wall could also be used for 12” shelving?

How far can you reach when wiping a counter? I think the island might be too deep. What is the island seating overhang?

I would prefer a perimeter landing space next to both the oven cab and the fridge. Right now you only have the island.

Are you committed to the u-shape? You should really consider 48” for all aisles. Thus, I would prefer an L-shape in your space.

I would keep the corner pantry but change the layout to an L shaped layout with 4' of space between island and perimeters.

I would also make the island only 4' deep. Any more is just a waste and harder to clean.

Make the door to the pantry a pocket door

I like CPartist's plan.... it's too bad the stairs couldn't be shifted to the left like 3' - then the pantry could be a walk-thru - with shelves on both sides (and thus accessible from the mudroom for easy grocery-putting-away-ness =)

The plan for microwave was in the island.

The sun room will have a casual seating area

I did plan on seating in the island and agree that making it smaller would be better.
