Looks nice... what kind of tire is that?

Good luck Shadow! I was thinking judging by the size of the hand it must be from a riding lawnmower. I imagine nearly any size smallish tire would work,, ATV, trailer.....

be sure and show us how it goes..my hands can't keep up with my mind when it comes to projects :-(

Those are common sights in the rural south. I've seen them in all different sizes. I would think the larger tires would be harder to turn, though.

A few years back, I really wanted some of those tire planters. But my skills were just not up to that level. Well lo and behold last year, I found two of them on the curb with a "Free" sign! I think they are pretty fun.
