Well thank you. Fla. is in bloom, and spring is coming FAST here. My huge plumeria tree is about to bloom, I have bloom spikes poking out on every end on the tree. So in a week or two, it will be covered in blooms...THEN leaves. Then I know any shot of cooler or cold air is logggg gone:(

The Tabebuia tree this orchid is tied to, is just starting to bloom to, and that means, it is spring! Big deal. No more cool air till Nov. But all over the city, all the yellow tab. trees are coming in bloom, it is nice to see, the only sign of plant life/flower in the city.

Gorgeous! Orchids are truly amazing plants. I miss being able to grow them outside in trees here, but I like the climate here better, so sacrifices are necessary.

2 nights later the scent isnt stronger, but ti is still strong during the day..so...the blooms must be new still maybe the wind is making them look old/tired???

Spectacular blooms! I've heard they smell like raspberries. This is more of a day-scented orchid. I was going to get one on ebay but decided on a clowesia and neofinetia instead. The blooms on this orchid should last about a month. I hope you get to enjoy them for a while.

A month!? Wow! Well the smell is very odd. I have never smelled this 'aroma' before. It is VERY fragrant in the day, as you said. I cant describe the aroma, my sister says it smells like cotton candy. To me it is just some kind of fruit/candy...raspberries is close,but not the name I would say. But it is very special!
