Those videos have been around for a while, they are entertaining and dreamy, but she already has a copycat.:)

The tomatoes look like the bumblebee series and if that is what they are , they are good for cooking but not fresh eating since the skins are too tough. I grew the purple bumblebee one year and they were very productive, I could not give them away fast enough. There are other artisan series that look similar also.

I am growing now pink and red boar a saladette type that we like and looks pretty on a plate.

I was envious today at the vegetable area at the Leu Gardens, they had ripe tomatoes! and mine are not even fruiting yet. I got close to see the variety and it was a Roma from Johnny's.

Thanks, Silvia. She has several copycats, in fact. She finally had to put out a video last week about which was really her and that she is the Chinese one and not Vietnamese.

I had an incredible number of tomatoes this year but I lost the plant to the stupid agama lizard, which ran through freshly applied roundup in the common area and then into my courtyard and up the tomato. They're big enough that it was enough to kill the plant overnight, It had more than 60 tomatoes on it at the time. I'm generally the kind of person who even catches bugs that get in the house and puts them outside, but I have great sympathy with someone I know who shoots those evil critters.

I saw the lizards at the Fairchild Gardens. I would not want them in my garden!.

I have Vietnamese friends that share recipes with me, I love their food and sometimes we have similar tastes in veggies and fruit.

I gave them a box of not ripe star fruit, they use it as a vegetable, some giant red Japanese carrots and a whole bunch of kale.

My garden is pumping produce at this time....
