Hi John, The desks adjusts between standing and sitting height by simply unscrewing the lowest section of pipe from each leg.

When I designed this desk I looked at many different options of adjustment: screw in, hydraulic, crank, etc. and I found that screwing in and removing each leg was the simplest, most aesthetically pleasing, functional, and cost effective way to adjust a desk height.
