I am having my house repainted and need advice choosing paint colors. I want to go lighter but do not want a bland looking house. I have been talking to some painters and they all tell me the gray color palettes are on the way out, so now I need some ideas. Also in the kitchen I am planning to keep the cabinets stained, but repaint the island.
