Without pictures hard to suggest. My only thoughts are that not every piece of furniture necessarily needs throw pillows & you just have to bring them home, play around with them & return the ones that don’t work. Just don’t overdo them. Other things bring interest to a room also ( e.g., artwork, throws, plants, objects, etc )
