BEDROOM RUG. Pattern or no pattern for and Color Scheme????

I am trying to finish the design of our Master Bedroom and I am struggling with either going with a patterned or solid rug as well as what colors rug to choose...

If I go with patterned I am committed to a certain look. If a solid then more flexible, right?

What color rug tone (if different from photos) would work well in this room with taupe furniture, with beige upholstered back and white oak floors...

DISREGARD MESS... WE just demoed our Bathroom and closet so, for now all is moved into Bedroom!!!!
