Blue Point Junipers or Arborvitaes

I want to plant a privacy screen between my house and my neighbor's house. Will Blue Point Junipers be a great alternative to arborvitaes? What are the pros and cons of planting Blue Point Junipers in Zone 7a? I was going to plant Green Emerald Arborvitaes because they are cheaper, but I have deer. Does deer netting really work with persistent deer?

Yes, I live in Howard County Maryland which is between DC and Baltimore. I am also a physician LOL!.
