It is one of the prettier begonia's IMHO.. watch your watering, they hate soggy soil and they don't like water sitting on the leaves. It's in a perfect size pot, good luck with her.

How do you keep them over the winter?

Never tried keeping this type over winter but have overwintered a tuberous one for 3yrs running. Summer time kept outside on my balcony. After dying down in the fall, dug the tuber up, cleaned it off, made sure it was dry, then into a bag with shredded paper. Kept in my bedroom ... which is the coolest I can manage in my apt over the winter.

Wonder if with a rhizome, if keeping it in dry soil and cool & dark over the winter would work?

Rhizomatous begonias must be kept watered during winter but do cut back on watering. They are not tuberous and therefore will not go into dormancy. They will slowly dry up to death if not kept moistened.
