Just curious if anyone had any economical ideas to help get my lawn/ grass going. We recently built our house (4 years ago) so I know that is a factor but I’m having a hard time getting grass to grow in uniform/ decent fashion. If I had my way, and money, I would get it professionally leveled and sodded but that’s not an option at this point. I typically buy a 50# bag of contractors blend seed and cover the area. Through April/ May/ June, it comes in pretty well but as the heat comes and water lessens, the grass feels that effect. I had planned on doing something similar this year while also trying a more fertilized/ summer friendly seed mixed as well but wasn’t sure if I should spend the $50-60 on the 50# blend bag or put all that money into a particular seed/ fertilizer, likely with less coverage for the cost. I live in southern OH so borderline between zones 6-7. We live on a hillside with a nice clay mixed material and transplanted topsoil on it. Thanks for any ideas/ help
