Martha Stewart Bathroom Vanity nightmare

Hi All.

This is a review of
Seal Harbor 30-1/4 in. W Bath Vanity in Sharkey Gray with Vanity Top in White

We've purchased this vanity a year ago, and since then its been a nightmare. SO, at first it looked amazing and sturdy, but in a month the paint began to cheap off. I sent email to Homedepot, they redirected me to the manufacturer, the manufacturer send a replacement vanity. Great. Im paying $170 to install the new one.... in a month it begins to cheap off just like the first one. And we did wipe off every single water drop off it! These photos are taken in about 5-6 month after installation

. I emailed manufacturer and requested a refund, but the reply was No, since I purchased it from HomeDepot.

I will try to contact HomeDepot again, honestly I doubt they will refund me, but I will try!

Meanwhile I just wanted to post it so everyone is aware of the quality of this product.

I had the same experience with a Martha Stewart laundry sink I bought off home decorators (also HD)

Wow. That’s awful. I would be disappointed regardless of what the purchase price was.

I would write Martha Stewart directly - it couldn't hurt.

I was having some issues with a chain store and I got the name of their CEO and wrote a polite email explaining the situation. I didn't hear back from the CEO but the problem was speedily rectified by an underling who actually had the power to break procedures.

Just wanted to offer my sympathies for what you are going through. My first bathroom remodel I spent what seemed like a small fortune on a Restoration Hardware vanity thinking that at that price point the quality would surely be good. I was wrong. The paint didn't peel, but the doors warped! I was furious. RH sent several repair men who didn't know what they were doing. Eventually sent me several replacement doors which were warped too! (I could lay the door on a flat table top and they would not lay flat.) There is nothing more infuriating then spending money on what seemed like the perfect vanity only to find the quality sub par. We bought one too. It was the only vanity I found that I liked the looks of. That was in 2018. Installed in a little-used hall bath. Just discovered a hole through the sink portion. A hole going all the way through.

I purchased the seal Harbour vanity for both of my bathrooms. They are absolutely fabulous. No chupping of the paint of any kind!! Still looks flawless
