I love elephants and want to incorporate them along with gray for this bathroom. I absolutely need help. It’s not looking how I want. I’m desperate

white, ivory or blue/green would look good with the terracotta colored tiles; what color is the floor? curtain solid - elephant prints on the wall - solid towels as well - plant in the corner of the counter; accessories as well - then an ivory color on the wall.. grey would work as well - solid color all the same for your towels and curtain and accessories.. see color ideas photo

I like the vintage bath tile. I think the peachy color goes great with black and white and grays.

I would try white walls to match the sink. Black and white framed art. A black and white curtain.

    black & white towels.

The dark thing on the window has to go.

We had that same tile in our first home, and I found a bold wallpaper with my colors and the tile color. It looked great! Since you love elephants, why not go look for an elephant print wallpaper that incorporates the tile color and gray? I’d lose the curtain on the window and just have the blinds. Good luck!
are the curtains supposed to look like a elephant's tail???? if so clever, lol!!

The tile is mostly pink. There was white ugly peel and stick tile on it that I just ripped up. The floor is in good shape but doesn’t really match. Should I keep wall decor to a limit since it’s small? Also wanted to replace the medicine cabinet and lighting. It’s awful.

I actually like grays and white with your tile. The elephant towels are cute but maybe a tad juvenile (although hold on to them.)

I'd paint the walls either white or a light gray and then add large scale photos of elephants. White and or gray towels.

Or pick an elephant themed shower curtain that incorporates the pink/terracotta tile as a starting point; something more vintage looking and take it from there.

white walls to brighten it up & use grey for towels, curtain, accessories, shower curtain and floor rugs - grey and white elephant prints for the walls; 2 plants - one in corner of the counter and maybe one hanging in front of the window... floor - are you going to redo it? can you post photos of the med cabinet and the light?

    Hmmmmm....following......

Can’t afford to redo the floor unless I find a really cheap way and something I can do myself

Is the tile more of a salmon or peach color?

I would remove that medicine cabinet and just hang a big horizontal mirror something simple...add a new light...paint all walls a white with slight gray undertones....add all white towels white rug.....than do a elephant shower curtain...pick something with a classic style like the classic tile....don’t force a modern print..here is one from eBay that would look really nice..

Those older built-in medicine cabinets can be challenging to replace - hard to find the same size size. I had that problem once and just painted it all with the same color as the wall paint, and replaced the mirror. Mirrors are pretty easy to have cut to size and shape.

Behr paints have a very pretty paint color called 780C-1 Sea salt...would be a nice color for your walls...

Floor tile can be painted...so many YouTube videos on this DIY project...

Is this a rental, or do you own the place?

Agree that replacing the medicine cabinet with one that fits exactly will be expensive. However, it looks like the mirror is blackened. So, I'd remove the cabinet and just hang a larger size mirror over it. Or, if you really need the storage, get a larger size wall-mounted, i.e. non-recessed cabinet, and hang over the niche.

On my monitor, the floor looks fine. I'd just throw down a bath mat or runner.

Kind of this look but with elephant pictures. You could also google safari bathroom (since I see some giraffes)....

Aha, finally found someone who likes elephants in their decor also. I have ceramic elephants in my TV/den and love them. In my newly remodeled bath, ..we changed the tub to a shower. (We took all the tile off the walls and painted the walls plus framed the mirror over the vanity). I was at Walmart this morning and got a small grey ceramic elephant candle holder which I have on the vanity. I saw an elephant flower pot I have my eye on and a picture of an elephant for over the stool. I like your elephant towels too.

How do the colors look with your floor? Or doesn't the wall paint touch the floor at any point?

The tile goes all the way to the floor

I like the two grey paints samples to the far left in your swatches. However, I would first replace your lighting because all of the paint colors will change in new lighting.

Grab a lamp (no shade) and install an 5000k LED "bulb" ($10 @ Home Depot - returnable) before selecting colors. The "true daylight" color the bulb yields will make all the difference.

Consider putting 2 towel bars on the back of your entry door, so your current bar is not so crowded.

Good idea about the daylight lighting. I like this one...

On my monitor it looks a little blue/lavender, but you can judge best in real life. Very excited to follow along with your progress.

If you want to keep the grey elephant towels, I'd probably match to that gray. Also, if you plan on a shower curtain that has gray. It's always easier to match a paint to a fabric than vice versa.

Thinking about taking the door off the medicine cabinet and putting up a medium to large pivot rectangular mirror.. Good idea ???

    love that classic 4x4 tile...

I love the bathroom nosoccermom posted. Clean creamy white walls, white cabinet same color, touches of black to ground the room. Very clean, sophisticated, updated look for tile. On my iPad, the paint you like looks lavender. Your tile is a muted pink. Together, do you think they will give you the updated look you want?
Definitely don’t want lavender walls . Thinking I may be painting white today

I Like Home Interiors w/Ease color and decor choices.

try SW Crushed Ice. it's a very very light gray

love this one too. the soft grays, black/white would look perfect. (you are getting a new light, yes?)

this dark blue/gray isn't bad either.

can you lose the window treatments? maybe do frosted glass on the bottom portion? if you must have a window covering, then do soft gray/white roman blind or a solar shade.

for the light, if you remove what you have, be prepared for plaster damage if you take off the wood piece. maybe you'll luck out and it will be fine. you could do a retro type of light

if you have to replace the wood, you could cut a new piece (thinner) and mount your new light to it.

    (not these rustic ones!)

Lampsplusopenbox has some really good deals.

I did get a new light already. Haven’t taken the other one down yet. Gonna be so glad to see that thing gone.
