I bought faux brick panels at home depot and then applied a German schmear followed by a good quality polyurethane. The panels are cheap, about $40 for 4ftx8ft , and can be easily cut with a jigsaw or table saw. I haven’t put my kitchen backsplash up yet, but I have attached a picture of an accent wall I did in my guest bathroom. It may not be exactly what you’re looking for, but it was a very cost effective upgrade for me!
