    It is a bit like the 'white carpet' of hardscaping. If the color is uniform, any stain will show up. The best solution is to seal it many times and cross your fingers when you have a large event and people are carrying foods across it. Without sealing it regularly, even a cookie crumb will leave a big oil stain. Not that I've had that happen.....
