I LOVE Queen palms! I have four of them in tubs that I overwinter in my garage in Zone 7/NJ. What do you want to know about them?

How long have you had them? any pics? I just re potted it to a much bigger pot. I have been looking for a long time for one!

The new frond is growing strong. Rain is coming tomorrow.

Doing well. It's a slow start after re potting but the new frond is growing. No one else in town has a Queen that I can see. They are all majesty's or cat palms.

Here is an update! It's growing fast now. I'll re pot it before winter.

New leaf is pushing out Nov 8

Growth stopped for maybe a few weeks in Dec when it was really cold. AFter that happened the electric box out from stopped working so it had to be put in the house for five days. All the fronds got crispy tips. It's been back out now for 3 weeks and growing again

Yes haha I notice it now, and they grow fast. We have some 14 foot windows where I have a very tall banana and a White bird of paradise. This most likely will join that group.

It will grow taller than that. My largest is a 6.5 gallon and it is 10 feet tall. Still very young, only getting bigger. They usually get about 20-40 feet tall, but the cold may stunt it.

I think it needs to be repotted. We had the right temps but the growth didn't match.

Hey it's a nice size now! I have since watered it. It's perked up quite a bit.
