It looks like both your choices have good disease resistance, though colors are quite different. Besides disease resistance being a factor, along with your other ornamental characteristics, look at the overall size and shape of the tree since there is a huge range among crabapples.
Here is another resource for crabs, which though less complete as far as number of plants has a lot of detail on size, shape, fruit, and disease resistance. Both your varieties are on it, along with a bunch of others. They do have different shapes and I wouldn’t consider either to be really pale pink.
