Shomburkia! Well grown!

I have a bunch in the front of the house on a palm tree, with 4 flowering now. I have 4 bunches in the back of the house, with 4 also flowering now. I was given one that flowers yellowish, but it didn't flower, and I don't know which one it is now. They are very pretty.

Once you tell about flowering plants you must show pictures...

Okay, shavedmonkey (Harvey in South Fl.)Z10b, here are the pictures of the ones in front, kind of dark. Will post the other two in the back tomorrow. These multiply very fast. I had a whole bunch fall with the hurricane tree last year, gave it to a friend.

That's everywhere I have the orchid at. You can see it multiples very fast. I started with 2 pieces, and you can see how many I have now. The first picture, is the portion that fell off an avocado tree, with the last hurricane. Another portion I gave to my friend. They usually flower close to mother's day.

Very nice. Not widely grown here, just get too big. Genera name has been changed from Schomburgkia to Myrmecophila. If you google those names and select images you might be able to find the species name.

As for the yellow orchid, id is impossible.

looks like variety tibicinis, well grown even if mounted on a tree in full sun and ignored they take off on their own... definitely a good plant to landscape in sub and full tropical climate in full sun exposure.

This one flowered now, is on a Soursop tree that died. Going to be hard to take it off.

This is an orchid I rescued. I went to a party and they were going to throw it away. It had been a floral arrangement she had received. I asked for it, and she let me take it. It was very thankful, it has flowered a lot since I got her.

I love those pastel colors together! I’ve never seen a vanda colored in this way!
