elephant ear bulbs

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><md>ummm, silly question maybe . Did I plant my elephant ear bulb the right side up? First time planting them. Are they normally slow growing? Mine are barely sprouting , I planted them weeks ago. No greenery or leaves yet, just little nubs. Thanks

I don’t see a picture. colocasia needs warm soil and weather . Stating your location is helpful too

Technically tubers, not bulbs. And also aroids. There is an entire forum dedicated to the care and growing of aroids and elephant ears are a frequent topic of discussion.

That looks like the top. I’m in 7b north Georgia and mine just popped out of ground only a few days ago.
