The home is gorgeous! You have a great work ethic and nice design eye. But one thing and I probably missed it but the Vermont stove must be fireproof. Do not see fire/heat Pete toon for your floor or wall by the stove? Why?

Typo do you not need fire proof wall and floor where stove is?

Weathering through

Susan Davis: no, it’s a Jotul propane stove and it does not have to be installed like a wood stove would be. It has all been installed according to code by a proper stove installer. It does not need fireproof materials around it and clearances don’t apply to it.

I love how you worked with an unimpressive back splash and made it look so classy and perfect in your new kitchen. This space seems transformed and uplifted. One of the best before and afters ever.
