Olympian Fig Growing Well? (First timer!)

Hello everyone! I finally have a place of my own and a decent sized patio so I’ve been growing a lot of things in containers and pots, figuring out by trial and error what works best where.

I live in zone 7b, and ordered a Chicago Hardy fig which when delivered turned out to be an Olympian. I shrugged as well, least it’s cold hardy, but I’m worried about it’s growth.

i put it in a pot about a month ago and while other plants I ordered (like my elderberry) have put off literal feet of growth, my fig has only put out a dozen leaves and an inch or two. Is this normal for this time of year for this type of fig? i believe it’s in its second year.

i might be worrying over nothing but since I never have grown figs before I want to make sure that is normal for this type of plant, or if I need to move it to a more shaded area (it gets about 12 hours of sun where it’s at), or maybe give it more nutrients or water more.
