Does anyone have a built in teppenyaki or grill?

I'm considering adding a built in teppenyaki or grill next to my induction cooktop.

I've looked all over for reviews but don't see many at all for any brand.

If you have one, do you find that you use it often?

More importantly, are they a bear to clean?

Don't get a grill! They make way too much mess. A friend has a tappenyaki,. She loves it. I can't speak to the cleaning aspect.

Nasty filthy things to try to clean and require a substantial upgrade in ventilation. Grilling is best done outdoors.

Glad I asked!!

Silly question - I will have a 48” cooktop cabinet (long story) but a 30” or 36” induction is my preference.

Besides a teppanyaki, are there other obvious things I could put next to the cooktop that I’m missing? Or awesome out of the box ideas?

You could do a deep fryer, but that’s another royal cleaning pain. Or do 2 12” Meile induction units and an induction wok hob in the middle. Lots more electrical work and $$$. And a pain for the stone fabricator and everyone else to get right. Which equates to $$$.

Or just downsize the cooktop cabinet to 30” and put a 9” tray base and a 9” pull out to either side.
