I tried to remove what I think is an oil stain on my Costa Rose granite with baking soda & water alone before trying it with acetone. The baking soda darkened the stone! I was hoping the area just needed to dry, but it's been 2 hours and it hasn't changed. Any advice? Should I go ahead and treat with the acetone and baking soda poultice immediately? Is there a chance it just needs more time to dry?
