Rainbow High iris is gorgeous, o really like the loud in your face ones. I like the other odd iris too. I have 1 Siberian, a yellow and cream colored one. I did have some blue, but it seems like they bloom even shorter time than bearded so I took them out. Rocks Cry Out looks really good today, and I like Purple Mask. I found scapes on 2 more plants this morning.

Thanks, Nancy. I moved that iris and it took it three years to start blooming again. But I do like it. I got the odd ones from someone who was very angry at neighbors with dogs and was going to quit selling plants. New Paradigm has some extra on center...once again, a first bloom.

Another nice group. I have Rocks Cry Out too but it will be a couple of months before we see any blooms here. Love the Rainbow High iris.

So pretty Kay. i like your iris too. Striking colors. Your New Paradigm looks better than mine. I have never been impressed with mine-always looks faded. I like your “weird “ iris too.

Coming along nicely. Surprised how consistent Rocks Cry Out is. Yes, there are so many names to remember (not just daylilies); I do believe that Kay means Purple Maze.

Thank you all. Mantis, as always, is right...and I correct it the first time, son't don't why I always want to substitute mask for Maze. Kate this is a replacment New Paradigm. I still have one tiny fan of the old one, but it was obviously quite unhappy...need to move that fan to here. Julia and Mantis, Rocks Cry Out is a larger bloom than it has been in the past. I wonder why.

Purple Maze looks good. New Paradigm has a nice pattern but I'm not partial to daylilies that fade out as they age and the yellow base color seems washed out to me. Stamile wasn't always overly attentive to color retention on many of their daylilies.......Your weird "lily" looks like a Dutch Iris to me. I've never seen a Siberian Iris so can't be sure, but it looks very similar to the Dutch Iris I have grown (and loved)................. Dynamite colors on your Rainbow High Iris..........Maryl

Nice to see more daylilies from you! I agree, such a lovely iris, I’d keep it too. I only have a few iris here, starting to see budding on them. Daffodils are done here, I have a few Angelique? Tulips blooming, they’ve been in the garden about 25 years, squirrels haven’t found them and they still look good. I have a “cheater” scape on one of my Moonlit Masquerade, hoping it blooms.

Thanks you, ladies, all I can tell you, Maryl is the weird lily multiplies very fast! I have never had any extra on the petals of New Paradigm before, and suppose it was a first bloom. Sherry, thank you. And this year I expect I finally have the daylilies organized so when the season is over and the games start, I won't have to search photos to play. Hopefully.
