Nope, not sported. That looks just like my Willodene. Very variegated and more double crinkled flowers in cool seasons, darker foliage with more single blooms in summer for me. Perfectly normal. She's a great classic, isn't she?

Another oldie I have been enjoying a lot more than I expected is Ann. She apparently likes me. A plant given to me early this year has been growing very well and is constantly smothered with big double flowers. Not a great photo and I need to wash her leaves.

Even my old Feather is looking happier up here on the mountain and showing off some nice variegation that it never displayed while I lived down in Georgia. It looked bad for a long time in the warmer temps but likes the cool up here. I like some of the oldies but goodies.

Feather's always been such a hairy beast for me. Now you've got me wishing I'd kept my Willodene, heh. I'll have babies again soon - I also lost my Ness' Orange Pekoe I had for years and had to restart it after my moves. I've really missed that one!

Oh, Orange Pekoe! I tried it once but it never thrived. I ended up pitching it in one of my fits. I wish now I had kept a leaf and tried again. Feathers looks SO pretty! I have wanted Ann for a long time too, and also Picaso, but they grow so big I just dont' have room for them unless i made hanging baskets for them. chuckle.

They only need to grow as big as you will let them. I'm keeping my Ann modest in size and not about to let her get huge. I don't have room for that. As for Orange Pekoe I imagine I will likely have leaves to spare later this season once my leaf babies are potted up.
