I ordered a couple limes from a grower. Both looked healthy on top but on closer inspection my bearss lime had a split in the trunk. It's above the graft, above the first set of leaves. The growers were great and immediately sent a replacement, but I'd like to save this one if possible. My instinct is to repot it and let it get over that stress for a few weeks and then prune above the first leaves below the split. If it doesn't make it it's ok, as I do have the replacement, but I want to give it the best chance. These are my first citrus so I'm looking for input.
