So pretty! That's one healthy looking rose bush. I'm jealous of all those gorgeous leaves!

Thanks Suncoastflowers, here is another inherited bush covered in blooms too...I have around 10 in total that came with the house and they are all looking so fantastic.

Pippa, I'm heartened that you not only kept, but are caring for the roses on your property. It seems the trend is to rip everything out and rag on the prior owners taste. That is a beautiful rose, btw and please post pics of the others as they blooms. : ))

Here are more of the inherited roses...they are doing so well this year.

For the first couple years I had so much work to do to the old house I had no time to do a thing in the yard. Then last year I set out to learn how to take care of the roses and then fell in love with roses in general. I may move or remove some of the inherited ones but so far I love them all this Spring.

Here's another NoID inherited bloom...I really like the color of this one.
