Keep them dry. Crinums can stay on the shelf of your garden shed for a long time.

Keeping them wet will rot them.

I got them planted now. There were 25-30 med. to large in size. I just couldn't see someone destroy all of them. I don't think I'll need anymore!

Props to you elineal, I did the same thing when they dug out a neighbors bed and had tons of criniums and amarylis they were just throwing away. People don't know what they are getting rid of. They are stunning and very good here.

I planted them in pots for now. Three of them bloomed in the pots. The garden guy from Southern Living mag would give the quote "never has a Crinum died" or something like that.

The first ones I got came from my grandmother yard and I'm 74 years old now.
