Removing streaks from SS fridge?

Hi all - We just had a “monochromatic stainless steel” fridge delivered. The delivery guys used a ton of goo gone to get all the stickers, etc off. It left the fridge very streaky. Over the course of the last few days, we’ve tried gently wiping with a damp microfiber cloth (with the grain), followed by a dry microfiber cloth. It looks better immediately, but as soon as it dries fully within 20-30 seconds the streaks return. We bought special SS wipes to try... I swear that made it worse.

Anything else we should try? Or should we call and complain at this point?

Kate you might try white vinegar (again with the grain) I've used it

on some of my stainless.

Sometimes if you spray a tiny amount of furniture polish on your cloth and then try to remove the streaks that will work. Different stainless finishes require different methods.

One more thing Kate,

When I took receipt of my French Door wall oven, I removed all of that packing and tape BEFORE I ever turned the oven on. It wasn't sticky but left a distinct line from the tape. None of the stainless cleaners worked nor soap and water. I did the vinegar thing and it didn't work either but I cleaned it frequently with vinegar eventually went away but not right away. I guess I'm trying to say Don"t stress too much. It may take a bit of time.
