I think Sunbrella has outdoor curtains, but I don't know about the durability.

i find the acrylic fabrics are more fade resistant than the polyester ones.

Most fabric houses now offer outdoor fabrics--and they mimic all sorts of fabrics--velvet, chenille, terry cloth., as well as the traditional denim, linen, and cotton. Try Sunbrella, Outdura, Perennials, and companies like Kravet, Duralee/Robert Allen, Schumacher, Dedar. Know that they are usually fairly expensive due to their increased processing and popularity.

I have always used drop cloths for this purpose they are cheap and look great if you have them full enough. I wash mine too and they still look good.
