The backsplash is 12 x 12 Jura Green Limestone tiles which runs from the top of the counter to the bottom of the upper cabinets.

Thanks so much for answering! I must have miscommunicated, because I wanted to know about the windows you placed between the counters and the upper cabs. We are thinking of doing the same thing for our old-house kitchen renovation. How tall are they? Were you able to stick with the standard 18" distance between countertop and upper cabs, or did you have to increase that? What manufacturer did you use?

They are Loewen wood windows. We had them sized to fit between the upper and lower cabinets. We detailed it out so we would know what size to make them.
