Brush the floor regularly, and occasionally go over it with a damp (not wet) mop - I use specialist hardwood cleaner sold by my flooring
store, diluted in warer. Do not use steam mops, very wet mops, or Murphys.

We use Bona hardwood floor cleaning products, which are available in most grocery stores and big box home stores.

Often, your hardwood floors and my hardwood floors are different. Maybe type of wood, how the wood was cut, how it was finished.

Often, those things determine what should be used. What worked for one person may not work on your floors. I recommend following The manufactures recommendations.

It depends on the finish. The wax finishes are different from the hardwax oil finishes which are different from polyurethane/urethane/acrylic finishes. Without knowing which one you have, it is too difficult to try to figure it out.

Get a BONA wood floor cleaning kit that includes the mop tool. Thats really all you need. Make sure to follow the instructions and you will be fine.

The finish of my flooring is prefinished handscrapped.
