If you are having trouble posting pics just post them in a comment. The other thing is a good to scle drawing of the space as it is with windows and doors maked also with measurements I find graph paper is the easiest to do this on. Any surrounding area marked and of course some idea of budget and your style.

Have you made a list of what's working for you in the space and what's not? In other words, what's motivating this reno? That and your budget will determine the scope of it and then you can start collecting ideas.

Ok so 10-15,000 budget. We could do most of work. Keeping stainless steel appliances, cabinets and wood floor.We have extra flooring to cover under the current island we have. We could replace two long windows and door with sliding glass or shorter windows but need access to deck. Maybe sitting bench under windows? Door in middle windows on either side? Would love a long island(with sink in it).Would like to get rid of desk and replace with usable counter or put pantry there. I sketched this but open for suggestions.

If you're keeping your cabinets and appliances, your budget makes sense for changing windows. Not sure about any layout reconfiguration in terms of removing or adding walls though.

Definately more prep and storage. Not much prep space to enjoy baking with kids. Also big Island would be nice for homework projects and entertaining as the living room is open and next to it. We have a large dining area next to the kitchen so I wouldn't mind getting rid of breakfast table. I feel like it's tight now. We bump into each other often.
