OK, I have weeded a bed, put out mulch, watered the pot plants, and did my best to weedeat the entire garden (just the edges, not the flowers!) And I took lily photos. It is already hot and humid so I think I am done until later. So, I get to look at your beauties! And boy, do you have some today! Neon Flamingo is dancing! And Fried Green Tomatoes is wow! Good for you! I am watering everything (I have a really good sprayer) and I have been cutting some stupid trees that keep growing up and making a thicket...Holly, privet and just rank "junk" trees. I am in the shade but ti is so stinking hot I came in to cool off and drink water. Lots of ivy to pull and more cutting to do. I have some weeding to do and I have to keep up with it oir it will get ahead.

Neon Flamingo and Sabine Bauer are my favorites among the singles. All of the clumps are glorious, and the garden shot is so pretty. I'm drawn to all those reds in the middle!

You have a lot of WOW factor daylilies blooming. Fried Green Tomatoes died not long after arrival here. Neon Flamingo looks really nice with Catastrophe waitress. That is still a big ole clump of Little Light of Mine. The plants you sent me last year look good and are starting to put up scapes! Clown Parade looks really wonderful, that is one that just looks better and better. Mine is just starting to get to clump size this year, someone always comes by and has to have a start. Stealth Bomber is gorgeous, I have a lot of plants in that look, and keep adding more, can't seem to stop myself. Pink Gingham really does well for you, and a pretty soft pink. I got Black Fathom Depths last fall too, mainly because it is supposed to have lots of buds. How does yours do? The garden pic is just wonderful! As Kate said, I like them all, although not so sure about the double. Not really a color I am fond, and I am not as fond of doubles.

Nancy, this is Black forest Ritual today...It has had at least flour blooms the last four or five days and typically continues in that vein; Tere were five yesterday and four today. I hate that FGT died on you. This is it's second year here. CP has done well since its first year, but I waited a while before I shared...with Julia first, I think. Thanks you, Debra, I love those reds and all reds, as you know. But I love those hot pinks too. Yes Sherry, it is much reduced, but it typically grows like great guns here. Pink Gingham was one of my early daylilies....I have always enjoyed it, it blooms so much this is at least its seventh clump like that, and it re-blooms usully also. It amazses me that Marietta deosn't sell it anymore.

All are lovely but Stealth Bomber and Fried Green Tomatoes are my picks today. I also love Black Fathom Depths. We moved ours so hopefully it will grow better (was in a bad spot).

These are all wonderful with the beautiful garden pic. Pink Gingham in a clump looks fantastic. Such a nice soft color. Of course Clown Parade can't be missed. :)

Looking good. Is your season earlier than normal? Glad I have none yet; am not ready for daylilies. Nor am I ready for this heat. As for the Petal Pushers cultivar, PP is notorious for souped-up pictures. Buyer beware!

Thank you ll. Nancy, Stealth Bomber has had a great season, and I may divide Black Fathom Depths because it isn't bloomer as well as it used to. Julia, Pink Gingham has been a favorite of mine for a long time. It is a great bloomer. I am a good two weeks earlier than last year and may be three weeks early overall. I am not a huge fan of doubles anyway, but that one is disappointing to me. Thei heat is overwhelming, I totally agree.

Your garden is so loaded with pretty ones it's always hard to pick a few out. Stealth Bomber looks great here, and Secret of Contentment looks promising. I like the ruffly edge. Any trouble opening for you? Cosmic Kaleidescope always catches my eye until I notice how murky the base color is. Would prefer a more clearly defined color. Either peach or Lavender. Just pick one...........Maryl
